Kieh’s New Mask Contains Sustainably-Sourced Ginger Leaf Extract

A clinical trial demonstrated the mask’s efficacy.

Kiehl’s says it has launched its first overnight firming mask with demonstrated efficacy, in a clinical study.

Kiehl’s new Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask provides an immediate firming effect and smoother-looking skin by morning.

Made for all skin types, the cream mask is infused with botanicals and essential oils, for a luxurious texture. It is also non-comedogenic and paraben-free.

The mask contains sustainably-sourced Ginger Leaf extract, for its skin-smoothing properties. This product benefits the female farmers of Hoa Binh, Vietnam, where the Ginger Leaf is sourced. Kiehl’s is providing the 14 women who carefully collect the ginger leaves education and new tools for safer, more efficient farming of Ginger Leaf.

The Hibiscus flower is known to close during the night to preserve its nectar. The plant’s seeds contain a high protein content, and is combined with other ingredients in the formula to improve the look of dull and tired skin that shows signs of aging.
