A self-confessed GOT fan, Robbin says: “For each piece, it takes me about a week to finish. Working on it for two or three hours at night after work. My favourite character would have to be Olenna Tyrell, the Queen of Shade. I love how really funny and sharp she is every time. She just owns every scene she’s in.”
A graduate in Advertising Arts from the University of Santo Tomas, Robbin plays with paper during his spare time, making not just portraits of TV characters, but minimalist papercutillustrations that play with light and shadow.
He added: “Since my work requires me to be in front of the computer most of the time, papercutting allows me to create something with actual hands after being in front of a screen all day. I was introduced to papercutting by a professor of mine during my last year in university. That was about three years ago. I got really interested about the craft and started to keep exploring it more.”
