I miss travelling this is reblogged from 2018.
After a ten days holiday in Tokyo which ended up a visual feast. I took hundreds of photos with my iPhone. The colour within this photo is vivid and I was interested in what type of colour palette I was able to extract from it. The photo is the front door of the Robot Restaurant at Kabuki-Cho in Shinjuku, the business and entertainment district in Tokyo. The fast-paced Shinjuku district with its skyscrapers and towers can come as a bit of a shock. The Robot Restaurant is a popular spot for tourist combining food, drink and performance. Asia’s many and varied theme restaurants were quick to recognise dining is more than what you put in your mouth.
I call this colour swatch Shinjuku.
