Brian Clarke: The Art of Light

British artist Brian Clarke will be seen as one of the most influential artists working in stained glass, at once a pioneer in modern technology and a brilliant aesthetic innovator in an immersive exhibition of more than 100 works of stained glass, compositions in lead, and related sketches. Clarke has worked with some of the most influential architects in the world since the early 1970s to create stained-glass designs and installations for hundreds of projects worldwide. More than 20 freestanding glass screens will be the centrepiece of the show. These dramatic works, animated by shifting light and stained with exuberant, saturated colours, will transport viewers to the very frontier of what is possible today in stained glass.
