Oscar Niemeyer (1907 – 1912) was a Brazilian architect and designer. He was born in Rio de Janeiro.
He studied architecture at the National School of Fine Arts, Rio de Janeiro.
He worked in the office of architect Lucio Costa. He collaborated with Le Corbusier on the Ministry of Education building in Rio de Janeiro and on the United Nations building in New York.
He was a professor of architecture at the University of Brasilia. He won the 1947 competition for the Aeronautical Training Centre, later cancelled, and in 1947, was invited to participate in the building of the United Nations. Denied entry to the United States as a communist sympathiser, he was unable to accept the invitation as a guest professor at Yale University.

Alberto Rosselli (1921-76) Italian architect and industrial designer. He was born in Palermo. He was professionally active in Milan. 1938-39, he studied engineering. 1945-47, architecture. Politecnico di Milano. In 1950, Rosselli, Gio Ponti and Antonio Fornaroli established the architecture and design firm Studio PFR. They produced notable structures, including the 1956 Pirelli tower in Milan.
