Lluís Clotet (b.1941) is a Spanish architect and furniture designer. His architectural designs include the office of Banco de España in Gerona and the accommodation facilities of the Olympic town of Barcelona. He has worked for brands such as Alessi and BD Barcelona in product design. Works of the awarded designer have been seen in many museums, including New York’s MoMA and Frankfurt’s German Architecture Museum.

From 1965 to 1965, he attended the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura in Barcelona.
Biography- Lluís Clotet
He worked in the offices of Frederico Correa and Alfonso Mila from 1961 to 1964.
In 1964, he formed the Studio PER with Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici, and Oscar Tusquets Blanca.
He collaborated with Oscar Tusquets Blanca until 1985. B.d Ediciones de Diseno, where he was a founding partner, manufactured some of his furniture and furnishings, including the 1986 Zoraida collection of knock-down metal tables and pedestals.
Professor at Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura from 1977 to 1984.

Received 1965 and 1972 Premio FAD (best interior design), Barcelona; 1978 and 1978 Premio FAD de Arquitectura (best buildings); 1980 Premio FAD; 1980 Premio Nacional de Restauracin; 1974, 1979, and 1980 Delta de Oro ADI/FAD de Diseno Industrial (best industrial design); 1985 Delta de Oro.
