Ennio Lucini (b.1934) was an Italian packaging, product, and graphic designer. He was professionally active in Milan.
He executed small objects for the home in ceramics and glass produced by Gabbianelli and metalware by Barazzoni. He designed the hemispherical Ponte di Brera drinking glasses (from 1965 by Ponte di Brera, 1968—75 by Gabbianelli) and 1968 Tummy range of stainless-steel cookware by Barazoni.
His clients included La Rinascente-Upim, Anonima Castelli, Bossi Tessuti, Christian Dior, De.Bi., Du Pont, Estée Lauder (Aramis and Clinique cosmetic ranges), Fanini Fain, Fiori, Fratelli Rossetti, Gabbianelli (ceramics and glass), Gavina, Fratelli Guzzini, Henraux Marmi, Instituto Commercio Estero, Instituto Franco Tosi, Lema Lidman, Ligure Lombarda, Malferrari, Midy, Mira Lanza, Pierrel, Pirelli, Poltrona Frau, Poggi, Richard Ginori, Prodotti Roche, Rootes Autos, Schiffini, Snia Viscosa, Stella Unitex, Sorgente dei Mobili, Vefer, Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris, Saifi, Central Adams, Mc. IN Comifan, Itres, Paolo Barazzoni, and P.A. Bonacina.
He coordinated corporate image programs for Anonima Castelli, Barazzoni, Centro Duchamp, Ligure Lombarda, Fanini Fain, Falconi, Palazzo Durini, Ponte di Brera, Cafecrem, Mc. IN, Itres, Galeries Lafayette, and C. Broumand.
He was a graphic designer for magazines Pacco, Forme, Design Italia, and Stilitaria and, 1975—80, art director of Domus. He was a member of ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale) and founding member of ADCM (Art Directors Club Milano). In 1968, he taught graphic design at the Scuola Umanitaria in Milan.
Lorenz’s 1928 Model upholstered steel armchairs were shown at the the 1931 ‘Berlin Bauhausstellung.’
