The 1 Inch stool is Jasper Morrison’s modern yet timeless interpretation of Emeco’s design traditions. The stool frame is made from recycled aluminium and assembled by hand using the same 77-step process as Emeco’s legendary Navy chairs, initially designed for naval use. The softly shaped seat is made from reclaimed polypropylene and wood fibres, which give it a charmingly nuanced texture. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The 1 Inch chairs got their name from the width of their legs and frame. Designed by Jasper Morrison, the collection consists of several different chair models with a durable structure and minimalist look, making them perfect for private and public use. All Emeco products are manufactured in the USA, using primarily recycled materials.
