Description
Charles Pfister for Baker primavera mahogany three-drawer oval commode with satinwood banded and burl top. Primavera mahogany case and drawer fronts with flush concentric, swivelling brass pull. Four radius end legs and olive ash burled parquetry top are set off from the point by incised and lacquered borders. Measurements are 40″ in width by 28″ in Depth by 32″ in height. In a fall 1989 review of the High Point Furniture Market, the NY Times had this to say about Pfister’s collection.
