All examples are from the 1960s. Ferdinand Kramer was a German modernist who developed a variety of objects for the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Ernst May and he designed the New Frankfurt together, a comprehensive city plan for Frankfurt from 1925 to 1930. He created many pieces for Thonet whose simple style he favoured, including architect Adolf Loos.
