Rare Brass Low Bowl by Albert Reimann

Albert Reiman Craftsman and educator. After taking classes in carving and modelling he set up a workshop in Berlin inn 1989, and in 1902 founded teaching workshops for drawing, modelling, wood carving and metalworking, later known as the Schule Reimann, which he ran until 1935, initially escaping the Nazi dismissal of Jewish teachers as it was not applied to private schools. But at the end of 1935, he was forced to leave and settled in London where his son opened the Reimann School and Studios in 1937. It was destroyed by bombing in 1944.
