The most significant global aerial photography and video competition is the Drone Awards. It’s a Siena Awards initiative dedicated to a new genre of photography, intentionally differentiated from conventional photography.
Aerial photography and video, whose platforms often include fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, balloons, blimps and aircraft, rockets, kites and parachutes, are open to the competition.
