Cristian Cirici (b. 1941) Spanish architect and designer. He was born in Barcelona, Spain.

Education

He studied at Esceula Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, Barcelona until 1965.

Biography

Between 1962-65, he worked in the office of architects Frederic Correa and Alfonso Mila and, in 1962, in the office of architects James Cubitt and Partners, London. In 1964 (with Pep Bonet, Lluis Clotet, and Oscar Tusquets Blanca), he founded the Studio PER.

Between 1975—78, Cirici was professor of design, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura. In 1981, he was visiting professor at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri and, in 1983, at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Between 1974—77, was director of cultural activities, Colegio de Arquitectos de Catalufia y Baleares.

1980-82, was president of ADI/FAD. His Work included 1986 hard- ware-fitting, 1986 Armariu cabinet, and 1986 audio stand, all by B.d Ediciones de Disefo.

Recognition

In 1965, 1970 and 1972 he received the Premio FAD de Interiorismo and 1980 Premio Nacional de Restauración.
