
Alfredo Simonit (b.1937) is an Italian designer. He was born in Romans d ‘Isonzo. Professionally active in S. Giovanni al Natisone.
Biography
Simonit began his professional career in 1963. In 1966, he designed furniture for Mabel Italia, where he was artistic director from 1967-72. In 1971, he began collaborating with Giorgio Del Piero. 1974, they set up the design studio A in S. Giovanni al Natisone. He was a member of ADI (Associazione per ii Disegno Industriale).


Recognition
In 1972 with Del Piero, he showed his work in the Mobel Italia stand at the 1972 (IV) ‘Eurodomus.’
He participated in the 1963 (V) ‘Concorso Internazionale del Mobile’ in Cantù, 1965 (II) ‘Concorso Nazionale del Mobile Fiera’ in Rome, winning a prize, and 1965 Concorso Nazionale del Mobile at the fair in Trieste winning a prize with others.Â
