Roberto Pamio (b.1937) Italian Architect and Designer
Education
He studied architecture at the Univesità di Venezia in 1968. He studied under professors like Carlo Scarpa, Samonà, Gardella, De Carlo, Piccinato, Astengo and Zevi.
Biography
He became active in 1961 as an architect and furniture and industrial designer (with Renato Tosso), collaborated on furniture and lighting, and had clients including Zanussi-Rex, Peguri, Stilwood, Arclinea, Cidue, FAI, Leucos, and Arflex.
Recognition
He received the 1985 Product Design Award, Chicago, the 1985 Roscoe, Award, New York, 1987 Premio Compasso d’Oro. Pamio was added to the province of Venice’s Registry of Architects in 1969 and joined the ADI (Association of Industrial Design) in 1984.
